No wonder your Mama cried reading this simply profound, beautiful "family biography". You resemble your Mama quite a bit, Janice (I believe I mentioned that in a previous essay you shared featuring a photo of your lovely mother).
I'm still 'tearing up' - but "danke schon" for sharing this "Groundhog Day" laced family story that, in quite a few ways, mimics my childhood and my parents 50 years of marriage (most of it scarred by my mother's decline into bipolar mental illness--however, my father never wavered in his devotion to her. Sometime, he DID blame our Creator--wondering why his wife developed this mental aberration (it's just the fallen nature of ALL humankind--original sin I believe is the terminology used by pastors).
This is definitely a "keeper" essay--it goes in my "Janice stories" file--LOL!
Wonderful! Is that a bandaid on a twin's head? Poor little guy. He had no idea that someday he'd be the perfect illustration of rough and tumble in Norman Rockwell's America.
And yes, I canβt help but be reminded of Romanβs 8:28. God Bless, we are still praying for renewed health and healing for you πβοΈ
Thank you!
Thank you for starting my day with a smile Janice. God bless you.
Prayers for you in your health journey. ππ»ππ»ππ»
Thank you!

Great story. When told by someone tangled in the story lines, it always comes to life.
Thank you for always leaving an encouraging word!
