Jesus Could Have . . .
but He chose mercy.
Hello Friends,
Last week I shared the words below on Substack notes, and today I created a video with them. May the words, music, beauty, and our Savior who inspired all bring you peace and assurance of your eternity with Him.
Jesus, You could have slain me in my sin, yet you passed over me in mercy. And I will spend eternity in grateful praise that your blood redeemed me, your grace saved me, and your love transformed me forever. Selah.
[F]or all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus; whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed[.] — Romans 3:23-25 NAS95
Praise God!
In Christ,
Janice
