One Day
A Reflection on Heaven
Dear Christ Follower,
One day you will exhale earth’s troubles and pain and inhale heaven’s perfection and peace.
You will be wrapped in the everlasting arms of the One who defeated sin and death.
You will hear His timeless voice resound through the heavens and in your heart, “Welcome home, my child.”
You will feel His nail-scarred hands wipe away every tear.
You will step into the purest joy your heart could only dream of mere moments before.
You will rejoice as every hinderance and every doubt vanishes from your memory in the presence of the everlasting Savior.
You will sing praises to the King of kings for all eternity.
And I will join you in glorious worship.
Together we will sing Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty.
Until that day, rejoice, dear one, for the Almighty One keeps His promises.
He keeps those who are His.
We will see Him and be with Him forever!
I look forward to seeing you there,
Your sister in Christ
Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling, and to make you stand in the presence of His glory blameless with great joy, to the only God our Savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, dominion and authority, before all time and now and forever. Amen. — Jude 1:24-25 NAS95

"And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelation 21:3-4 How great our God. ✝
