A poem for Independence Day

Hello Dear Readers,

You get a bonus post today since Facebook reminded me of this poem from 2017 I had forgotten about. See there, Facebook is good for something after all!

I hope you are enjoying your day. I am spending mine in the air conditioning except for the few trips I made out to the grill earlier. Our city puts on a pretty extravagant fireworks display that we can see from our backyard, so I might venture outside for that tonight. Emphasis on might.
