Pride and Promises

Hello Friends,
I wish you a happy June. And July. And August. And 2024. And millennium, ad infinitum—because God is on His throne and He keeps His promises! The lost ones can attempt to mutilate the truth while pridefully flaunting their debauchery, but all that does nothing to change God or His promises, neither those of blessing for obedience nor those of punishment for wickedness.
God Almighty is trustworthy, faithful, and just. And He keeps every promise.
Know therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments; but repays those who hate Him to their faces, to destroy them; He will not delay with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face.

Wise words Janice! We need to keep the message alive that “pride goeth before a fall”. We usually hear it stated as such but the actual quote is better…
“Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall.”
Proverbs 16:18 ESV
