That's awesome! On my author copies order, it said it can take up to 5 weeks. Was that your experience? That's crazy. BTW, Amazon said they delivered your book to me at 6:30 this evening, that it was "handed to a resident." Well, no, it wasn't! So I don't know where it ended up. :(
I'm sorry to hear your book was misdelivered. Did they post a picture or anything? There's usually a picture of where they left it but I'm not sure what they do when they hand it to someone. Though, ours has said that before and it was in our mailbox. They have a pretty easy way of reporting it, and they usually get another out right away.
Yes, to your author copies question. Five weeks. And almost a dollar per book for delivery. I had to order some at regular price just so I'd have a few to give to friends and family for the holidays.
