Amen!! May each of us commit to praying even more for our country and the leaders at all level in our nation. May we stand in faith and obedience to God’s Word.
"But God shows his anger from heaven against all sinful, wicked people who suppress the truth by their wickedness...So God abandoned them to do whatever shameful things their hearts desired...Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip...Worse yet, they encourage others to do them, too." National “sorrow and repentance" is long overdue. “How long, Lord, will the wicked, how long will the wicked be jubilant?” (Psalm 94:3). “My soul yearns for you in the night; in the morning my spirit longs for you” (Isaiah 26:9). “Come, Lord Jesus!” (Revelation 22:20).
Oh how long my spirit has groaned as I wonder if His people who are called by His name would repent and turn from their(our) wicked ways. Are we? Will we? Are we too few?
Is it now too late? (Like the 10 spies with the bad report who ‘changed their mind’ and decided to obey…….but it was too late……??).
I wake up every morning wondering what it will take.
