Waiting
and watching...
Hello Friends,
I have this thing for sunrises and sunsets, although I admit I see far more sunsets than sunrises . . . for obvious reasons. You may recall that I recently shared a few sunrise photos from my trip to Jacksonville, Florida last November (find the post here). Today when I came across the sunrise photo below on my computer, I thought of the verse from Micah about watching expectantly for God, and how it is like waiting and watching for the sun to rise. Knowing it will rise. And believing it will be extravagant and beautiful because that is how the Savior does things.
So, whatever you are watching and waiting for, know that He knows what is best for you and for all those affected by your prayer. And just as sure as the sun will rise, He will answer. Extravagantly. Beautifully. Abundantly.
Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly beyond all that we ask or think, according to the power that works within us, to Him be the glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen. —Ephesians 3:20-21
In His Grace,
Janice

Beautiful photo and words Janice! Based on this verse maybe we should look to the East for His coming….
“For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.”
